Chris first learnt to play the bass guitar from the early age of 11 and that was the start of a passion for music. He began performing on stage within his bass teacher’s show band and this later led on to performing in numerous bands up and down the country. It was this experience that inspired Chris to form a band along with his long time friend Dave Weston. Chris has a fantastic sense of humour, which inspires an easy rapport with audiences, and his voice amazes those who hear him sing; his enjoyment and dedication to the band is continually evident and infectious!

Dave Weston
Rhythm Guitar, Vocals:-
Dave has been playing guitar since roughly 14 years of age. He has been in numerous genres of bands within the Blackpool area since his schooldays. Electric Echo is certainly his most successful venture. Having recently taken singing lessons and enjoying the occasional onstage laugh with the band at shows – Dave’s claim to fame is that he once had a 15 minute guitar lesson from Carlos-Paul-Santana from the 70’s band Paper Lace while working at Central Working Men’s Club in Blackpool. He is currently studying for a degree and divides his time between studying, travelling and the band well.
Andy Burr
Lead Guitar, Vocals:-
Andy first picked up a guitar after hearing Judas Priests ‘Living After Midnight’. From then on, he has lived, breathed and slept all types of guitar music from Classical and Jazz to Metal. Andy doesn’t mind what kind of music it is just as long as he is playing. On occasion, he has taught friends how to play and he has played on numerous recordings with many bands up and down the country. His wish is to be fully professional.
Phil Burr
Drums,
Percussion,
Vocals:-
Phil has been performing for most of his life and finds that his combination of drums and vocals enlightens many a performance. Like his brother Andy,Phil has a passion for music and he displays this from behind the kit. Since joining the band Phil has brought a new inspiration to Electric Echo and has a definite drumming style that is equalled by no one. Like everyone else his passion is displayed in his music and his call outs, within Pink Floyd numbers, have been known to raise the audience to near frenzy. His sense of humour has also become legendary.
